Foundation Center Resources to Grow and Sustain Your Programs

Established in 1956, Foundation Center is the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide. Through data, analysis, and training, it connects people who want to change the world to the resources they need to succeed. Stephen Sherman, senior librarian with Foundation Center’s Atlanta office, will provide an overview of the Center’s many resources on grant seeking, fundraising, and nonprofit management.

Stephen Sherman joined the staff of the Foundation Center's Atlanta library/learning center in November 2008 and currently fulfills the role of senior librarian. His duties include managing the library's collection of materials on fundraising and nonprofit management, providing in-depth resource consultations for the Center's patrons, and serving as the Atlanta office's liaison for the GrantSpace portal. In addition to teaching community programs on grant seeking and proposal writing, Stephen serves as a volunteer contracts for services panelist with Fulton County Arts & Culture. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill's School of Information & Library Science, Stephen has worked in a variety of academic and special libraries.
